Parliament Continues Debates of Draft State Budget at RA NA Standing Committees

On November 4, at the joint sitting of the RA NA Standing Committees on State and Legal Affairs and on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs moderated by Vladimir Vardanyan and Arkady Khachatryan the financial allocations and the budgetary programmes of the state and judicial bodies designed by the draft law on the RA State Budget for 2021 were debated.

The RA Minister of Finance Atom Janjughazyan touched upon the main features of compiling the budgetary document.

Afterwards those responsible for the spheres referred to the allocations of the state budget in their spheres and the programmes to be implemented next year.

Presenting the budget request of the National Assembly for the coming year the RA NA Deputy Chief of Staff Lilya Sirakanyan noted that seven events would be implemented in 2021. She presented the expenditures spent during the current year and designed for the next year. The rapporteur also underlined that conditioned by the pandemic and the martial law, the employees of the NA Staff and the deputies were not paid their bonus.

The Chief of Staff of the RA Constitutional Court Samvel Arakelyan informed that two events were envisaged for the next year.

The Head of the Judicial Department of the Supreme Judicial Council Karen Poladyan presented the financial allocations of the coming year.

The RA Minister of Justice Rustam Badasyan presented eight programmes to be carried out by the Ministry and the expenditures to be provided for the implementation of the department functions.

Those responsible for the Chief Prosecutor’s Office, State Control Service, Corruption Prevention Committee, the RA Investigative Committee, the Special Investigative Service, the Audit Chamber and the Central Electoral Commission presented their financial allocations and budgetary programmes designed by the draft law on the RA State Budget for 2021.

The financial allocations and budgetary programmes of the Staffs of the RA President and the RA Prime Minister will be presented on November 11.
