On November 3, the RA NA Standing Committee on Territorial Administration, Local Self-Government, Agriculture and Environment convened an extraordinary sitting.

The draft law on Making Amendment to the RA Law on Local Self-Government was debated in the second reading.

The RA Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Vache Terteryan presented the specifications in the content.

According to the bill on Making Amendment to the RA Law on Local Self-Government in the City of Yerevan the Mayor of Yerevan can have four deputies instead of three. Vache Terteryan underlined that this deputy’s professional and human abilities would differ from the current work in the community.

The Committee endorsed the draft laws.
