Statement by RA National Assembly Speaker Ararat Mirzoyan
“Dear RA NA deputies,
On 27 September 2020, the Government made a decision on Declaring Martial Law in the Republic of Armenia.
Pursuant to Article 119.2 of the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia and Article 47.1 of the Constitutional Law the Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly, in case of being declared martial law by validity of law a special sitting of the National Assembly is immediately convened.
I am asking the deputies to be present at the Session Hall of the National Assembly at 17:30,” the statement of the Head of the Parliament reads.
