On September 8, at the RA NA Standing Committee on Regional and Eurasian Integration moderated by Mikayel Melkumyan the draft law on Ratifying the Protocol on Joining the Agreement of 23 December 2014 on Exchanging Information, Including Confidential in the Financial Sphere to Create Conditions in the Financial Markets for Ensuring the RA Capital Free Move was discussed.
The key speaker, the Deputy Chairman of the RA Central Bank Vakhtang Abrahamyan presented that the Agreement was signed in 2014 by three founding states: the Russian Federation, the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Belarus.
The goal of the Agreement is to coordinate and expand the process of the exchange of information between the bodies controlling the financial market of the EEU member states.
It was noted that by passing the draft law the process of effective exchange of information with the bodies controlling the financial market of the EEU member states and the effective cooperation in the frameworks of the coordinated control of the financial organizations would be regulated.
The Committee endorsed the draft law.
