The Government made a decision on Extending the State of Emergency declared on 16 March 2020 in the Republic of Armenia.

In accordance with the Constitutional Law the Rules of Procedure, a special sitting of the National Assembly is immediately convened by validity of law in case of being declared state of emergency (extending the state of emergency).

I request the deputies to urgently come to the Session Hall of the National Assembly: the special sitting of the National Assembly will begin at 14:00,” Ararat Mirzoyan’s announcement reads.
