At July 14 extraordinary sitting moderated by Babken Tunyan, the RA NA Standing Committee continued the debate of the draft law on Making Amendments and Addenda to the Code on the RA Lithosphere and the enclosed package of draft laws authored by the Government presented in the second reading at the Committee sitting of the previous day,
The RA Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Lilia Sgushanyan touched upon the controversial provisions and informed that the items were specified. The MPs voiced questions which related to the mine mortgage, the reassessment of the reserves, the ban of the upward tailing dumping, the destiny of rock dumps, the involvement of the inspectorates in the examinations and other problems.
As a result of debate, the Committee members by voting presented their position for it.
