On June 25, the extraordinary sitting of the RA NA Standing Committee on Health Care and Social Affairs moderated by Narek Zeynalyan was held.
The draft law on Making Amendments and Addenda to the RA Law on State Allowances was debated in the second reading presented by the RA Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Smbat Saiyan.
The deputies of the RA NA Bright Armenia proposed to fix allowance by 50% additionally for the newly born children in the border communities.
According to Smbat Saiyan, they are not against that proposal in principle, but very short terms are fixed for the adoption of the bill and additional debates cannot be held.
The Committee endorsed the draft law.
The Committee also approved the programme of the measures stemming from the decision on establishing parliamentary oversight approved by the decision of the RA NA Standing Committee on Health Care and Social Affairs of 20 May 2020.
