At June 4 extraordinary sitting, the RA NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs debated in the second reading and endorsed the draft law on Amending the Constitutional Law on Making Amendments and Addendum to the Constitutional Law the NA Rules of Procedure authored by the deputies of the NA My Step Faction Vladimir Vardanyan and Anna Karapetyan. A proposal was made to extend the term of entering into force the provisions on turning from the state service to the civil service in the Staff of the National Assembly until 30 November 2020.

The key speaker, the NA deputy Anna Karapetyan informed that after the first reading oral and in written form recommendations were not submitted.

The position of the Government was positive.

The Committee members unanimously voted for it.
