RA National Assembly Continues Work of Regular Sittings

On June 2, the RA National Assembly continued the work of the regular sittings, passing by voting the bills debated on the previous day.

The draft law on Making Addenda to the RA Law on Consumer Crediting authored by the MPs Artak Manukyan and Varazdat Karapetyan was debated in the second reading.

The draft law on Amending the Law on Bank Secrecy presented by the Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank Nerses Yeritsyan was also debated in the second reading. The Head Committee endorsed the draft law.

Afterwards the parliament debated in the first reading the draft law on Making Amendments and Addendum to the Law on Attraction of Banking Deposits with the enclosed legislative package revised by the deputies Artak Manukyan, Varazdat Karaketyan and Babken Tunyan. 

Yeghishe Soghomonyan presented the endorsement of the RA NA Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs.

The draft law on Amending the Law on Guarantee of Remuneration of Bank Deposits of Physical Persons authored by Mikayel Melkumyan was also debated in the first reading.

The member of the RA NA Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs. Artur Grigoryan informed that the draft was endorsed in the Committee.

During the exchange of ideas the MPs highlighted the proposing solutions and amendments.

In his final speech the Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank Nerses Yeritsyan proposed the MPs to vote for the draft law.

In his concluding speech the key speaker Mikayel Melkumyan characterised it a legislative initiative promoting the financial stability.

The key speaker Artak Manukyan presented for debate in parliament the draft law on Making Amendment and Addenda on Currency Regulation and Currency Control authored by the deputies of the RA NA My Step Faction Artak Manukyan, Varazdat Karapetyan.

The member of the RA NA Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs Tigran Ulikhanyan noted that the draft law was endorsed at the Committee and proposed his colleagues to vote for it.

In their speeches the MPs underlined that they should boost the free competitive bases.

The parliament debated in the second reading the draft law on Making Amendments and Addenda to the Law on Police and the enclosed package of draft laws.

The parliament debated in the second reading and for completely passing the draft law on Making Amendments and Addenda to the Constitutional Law on Referendum and the package of the enclosed draft laws authored by the RA NA deputy Vahagn Hovakimyan.

The Deputy Chair of the RA NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs Anna Karapetyan presented the endorsement and called on her colleagues to vote for the legislative package.

The RA Deputy Minister of Justice Vahe Danielyan presented the positive position of the RA Government.

The National Assembly debated the draft law on Making Addenda and Amendment to the RA Criminal Procedure Code authored by the RA NA deputies Nikolay Baghdasaryan and Sona Ghazaryan.

The co-speaker Nikolay Baghdasaryan presented the endorsement of the Standing Committee.

Presenting the positive position of the Government the RA Deputy Minister of Justice Srbuhi Galyan called on the MPs to vote for the draft law.

The parliament debated the draft law on Making Addendum to the RA Criminal Procedure Code authored by the RA NA deputies Nikolay Baghdasaryan and Arusyak Julhakyan in the second reading and for completely passing it.

The RA NA deputy Sergey Atomyan presented the endorsements of the draft laws of the RA NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs.

The parliament debated the bill in the first reading on Making Addenda to the RA Criminal Procedure Code authored by the RA Government.

In his final speech the RA Deputy Minister of Justice Srbuhi Galyan presented clarification among other items on Nikolay Baghdasaryan’s proposal.

The deputies debated the bill on Making Amendments and Addenda to the RA Law on Financial System Mediator and the enclosed legislative and the bill on Amending the RA Civil Code authored by the NA Bright Armenia Faction in the second reading and for completely passing it.

The RA Deputy Minister of Justice Rafik Grigoryan presented for debate in the first reading the legislative package on Making Addenda to the RA Law on Notary Office, on Amending the RA Criminal Code and on Making Addendum to the RA Civil Procedure Code.

The Deputy Chair of the RA NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs Anna Karapetyan presented the endorsement of the Committee.

The draft law on Amending the Law on Bankruptcy authored by the RA NA deputy Mikayel Melkumyan was debated in the first reading.

In his co-speech the member of the NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs Gevorg Papoyan informed that the Committee was for the adoption of the initiative.

The RA Deputy Minister of Justice Rafik Grigoryan noted that the draft law was comprehensively debated.

The parliament made a decision to hold one additional sitting, which would last from 6:30pm until 8pm.

At the last sitting, the MPs debated draft law on Making Amendments and Addenda to the Law on Securities Market and the package of the enclosed presented bills in the second reading and for completely passing them.

The RA NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs endorsed the package.

The bill on Making Addenda to the Constitutional Law Judicial Code authored by the MP Arman Babajanyan was debated in the first reading.

The member of the RA NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs Artur Davtyan presented the endorsement of the Committee.

The bill on Making Amendments and Addenda to the RA Civil Code authored by the RA NA Bright Armenia Faction was debated in the first reading.

The Deputy Chair of the RA NA Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs Artak Manukyan informed that the Committee endorsed the initiative with reservation.

The RA Deputy Minister of Justice Vahe Danielyan presented the position of the Government.
