Dear compatriots,

I congratulate all of us on First Republic Day!

102 years ago in these days, the unbelievable heroic deed in Sardarapat, Bash-Aparan and Gharakilisa laid a basis for First Republic of Armenia, and that was the best proof of the invincibility of the united strength of our arm, mind and will.

From the first days the founding fathers of the First Republic faced unequal war, the homeless migrants survived the Genocide, famine, epidemics and numerous other gravest problems, and great steps had been taken at the expense of super human efforts in solving most of them. During two years the grounds of the state institutions were laid down, steps were taken which were directed not only to the solution of the problems of those days, but also they were perspective, pretentious with a dream about a great and powerful Armenia.

Now, when the Republic of Armenia returned to the system of the parliamentary government that existed also in the First Republic, we are called to continue the work unfinished by Aram Manukian, Hovhannes Kajaznuni, Nzhdeh and others.

Glory to 1918 May heroic battle heroes! Glory to all the figures who spared no effort for our Motherland and our independent statehood!
