On May 22, on the initiative of the RA NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Diaspora, Youth and Sport, a working debate concerning the situation created in the sport world because of the coronavirus spread. The RA NA deputies, directors of sport schools and representatives of the sphere took part there.

The RA NA deputies Arsen Julfalakyan and Sofia Hovsepyan expressed their viewpoints on the matter of discussion.

Presenting the problems the participants of the debate were interested in the time of opening the sport schools.

The attendees also expressed their concern on lagging behind the Olympic Games because of the athletes’ not training during these months.

Arsen Julfalakyan expressed his readiness to debate all the raised problems with the RA Minister of Education, Education, Culture and Sport and find solutions for them.

Arsen Julfalakyan also informed that on May 25, at 12:00 an extraordinary sitting of the RA NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Diaspora, Youth and Sport, will be convened.

Besides the MPs also the Chairman of the Higher Education Qualification Committee Smbat Gogyan and the RA Deputy Minister of Education, Education, Culture and Sport Grisha Tamrazyan will attend the sitting of the Committee.
