The President of the RA National Assembly Ararat Mirzoyan is in correspondence through letters with his colleagues of a number of countries related to the international situation created as a result of the new type of coronavirus pandemic outbreak in the world and the response of the authorities of different countries.

During the previous week, the NA President received letters from the Speaker of the RF FA Federation Council Valentina Matviyenko, the Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of the People’s Republic of China Lee Zhanshu, the President of the Chamber of Deputies of Italy Roberto Fico, the President of the Senate of Belgium Sabine Laruelle and the President of the House of Representatives of Belgium Patrick Deval, the Speaker of the Parliament of Singapore Tan Chuan-Jin and the President of the Senate of Chile Adriana Muñoz.

In their letters all his colleagues highly assessed the bilateral relations existing with Armenia, indicated the importance of preserving cooperation, information and exchange of experience and permanent communication in the conditions of pandemic, and underlined the role of parliamentary diplomacy during the new coronavirus period and the period following it.
