At May 4 sitting of the RA NA Standing Committee on Regional and Eurasian Integration Committee moderated by Mikayel Melkumyan the draft law on Ratifying the Agreement on Trade in Services and Investment between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Singapore, presented by the RA Deputy Minister of Economy Varos Simonyan was debated.

The draft law and the Agreement had been undergone legal expertise in the Divisions of State and Legal Expertise, Financial and Economic, Social, Educational, Healthcare Expertise of the Expertise and Analytical Department of the RA National Assembly Staff and were endorsed.

The MPs’ questions related to Armenia-Singapore relations.

The Committee members highlighted the necessity of the adoption of the draft law.

The Deputy Minister of Economy Naira Margaryan presented for debate to the Committee members the draft law on Ratifying the Protocol on the Protection of Industrial Designs to the Eurasian Patent Convention of 9 September 1994.

Naira Margaryan informed that the RA Government signed the Protocol on 9 September 2019, proposing to vote for the draft law.

The debated legislative initiatives were endorsed.
