On March 23, the RA NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs moderated by Vladimir Vardanyan continued the sitting held on March 20. The key speaker Rustam Badasyan presented in the second reading the final version of the draft law on Making Amendments and Addenda to the Constitutional Law the RA Judicial Code and the enclosed package of bills authored by the Government. The initiative was endorsed.

Afterwards the Committee convened an extraordinary sitting, where by presentation of the RA Minister of Justice Rustam Badasyan, the package of the draft laws on Making Addendum to the RA Criminal Code and on Making Addenda to the RA Code on Administrative Offences authored by the Government was debated in the second reading. The key speaker detailed the amendments made to the package of the bill. He informed that part of the recommendations presented by the NA Prosperous Armenia and the NA Bright Armenia factions were accepted.

Let us remind that by the adoption of the package the due implementation of the legal regime of the state of emergency will be ensured and by that will be prevented the danger threatening to the life and health of the population.

Vladimir Vardanyan and the Committee members highlighted the regulations being proposed by the initiative.

The MPs presented a number of recommendations, and part of them were accepted.

The revised version of the package was endorsed.
