On March 4, in the foyer of the RA NA Session Hall the exhibition of the works of the painter Victor Hovhannisyan dedicated to the national revival and building of New Hayk (Armenia). The RA NA deputies, artists and representatives of the Parliament Staff attended the opening.

According to Javakhk Armenian painter, works reflecting not only national problems are presented for exhibition in the parliament, but also canvases passing spring mood and colours. Besides painting, Victor Hovhannisyan creates graphical works, collage and book illustration. Apart from making peculiar drawings the painter has been designing many pavilions of Public Television.

In his opening remarks the deputy of the RA NA My Step Faction Artur Manukyan highly assessed Victor Hovhannisyan’s works.

In his welcoming speech the graphic painter Armand Malkhasyan has noted that in Victor Hovhannisyan’s canvases the national theme is very profound and the heading of the exhibition speaks about the fact of him being patriot. As the speaker has evaluated, Victor Hovhannisyan is a painter of future.

According to the artist Armen Arustamyan, tthe Motherland and nature are depicted with gentle colouring  and searches typical to the painter in the works made accompanied by music.

Victor Hovhannisyan thanked those who organized the exhibition of his works in the Parliament of Armenia, noting that his aim was to once again raise the national problems.
