On February 12, the Chair of the RA NA Standing Committee on Regional and Eurasian Integration Mikayel Melkumyan met with the Armenian importers.
The situation created over the import process and car market was discussed. In term of export the car importers expressed concern on the disagreements caused with the Kazakh market.
According to Mikayel Melkumyan, the Government should negotiate with some EEU member countries for removing the ban, and it would promote the activation of the market. The Committee Chair assured that he would voice the issue during the Q & A session to be held with the Government today. “I will make a proposal in order these contacts be trilateral – the car importers, the NA Committee, the Government,” Mikayel Melkumyan noted.
