On December 16, the RA NA deputy, the Head of the RA NA Armenia-Romania Friendship Group Anush Begloian attended the celebrations dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Union of Armenians of Romania.
Conveying the warm congratulations and greetings of the RA NA President Ararat Mirzoyan to the attendees on the occasion of the important anniversary, the RA NA deputy Anush Begloian underlined the significant role of the heads of the Union of Armenians of Romania in deepening of cooperation at inter-parliamentary level. “Indeed, in this matter all the members of the Union have their undeniable contribution on behalf of the Heads of the Union, our beloved Varujans: the President of the Union of Armenians of Romania Varujan Vosganian and the Vice President of the Union of Armenians of Romania Varujan Pambukchian. The role of the Union of Armenians of Romania is of special significance as an important connecting circle, between our two peoples and countries, and the vivid example is the continuous deepening cooperation at inter-parliamentary level,” the deputy said.
The RA Ambassador to Romania Sergey Minasyan handed over the medals Gratitude granted by the decree of the RA President Armen Sargsyan to the Member of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of Romania, the President of the Union of Armenians of Romania Varujan Vosganian, to the Member of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of Romania, President of Tulcea Branch of the Union of Armenians of Romania Lucian-Eduard Simion and the President of Cluj-Napoca Branch of the Union of Armenians of Romania Karen Sebeshi .
The RA NA deputy Anush Begloian handed over the RA NA Medal of Honour to the Member of the Chamber of Deputies, the Vice President of the Union of Armenians of Romania Varujan Pambukchian.
The Romanian-Armenian well-known writer, translator, journalist, the Member of the Writers' Union of Armenia Madlen Garagashyan was awarded the Medal For Literary Contribution of the Writers' Union of Armenia for her creative weighty contribution and influential literary and cultural activity.
