On December 17, the Chair of the RA NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations Ruben Rubinyan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Estonia to Armenia Kai Kaarelson.

The interlocutors discussed the perspectives of the expansion of the inter-parliamentary relations. Ruben Rubinyan highlighted the development of cooperation between the namesake Committees of the two countries’ parliaments, the possible mutual visits, during which it would be possible to discuss issues on rapprochement of bilateral relations.

The Ambassador also highlighted the necessity of deepening of cooperation between the parliaments and expressed readiness to support in the implementation of the new initiatives.

Kai Kaarelson has noted that the ongoing democratic reforms in Armenia are noticeable.

The bilateral cooperation on the inter-parliamentary platforms was also touched upon.
