On December 12, within the framework of the RA NA Open Doors programme the pupils and the teachers of the Basic School of Sevan city visited the parliament.

The deputy of the NA My Step Faction Taguhi Tovmasyan and the deputy of the Prosperous Armenia Hrant Madatyan received the guests in the National Assembly.

The pupils particularly were interested in the reforms of the judicial system, the environmental problems of their marz, especially the mining.

The MPs informed that an Investigative Committee has been created in the parliament, which studies the problems of the abovementioned sphere.

Touching upon the judiciary reforms it was noted that the Corruption Prevention Committee had been formed which would fulfill its functions soon.

On the same day the pupils and teachers of Yerevan Mushegh Ishkhan N 5 Basic School were hosted in the parliament. The deputies of the RA NA My Step Faction Viktor Yengibaryan, Nikolay Baghdasaryan and Sergey Movsisyan held an Open Lesson.

The schoolchildren’s questions referred to the road construction and the bills under debate during the NA extraordinary sitting.

It was noted that in 2019 the road construction had been activated, roads of inter-state significance had been repaired and it was stressed that this process would be of continuous character.

In the framework of the visit the guests took a tour to the parliament building, observed the work of the extraordinary sitting of the National Assembly, got acquainted with the history of the parliament in the Museum and also visited the library.
