On November 25, at the sitting of the RA NA Standing Committee on Regional and Eurasian Integration moderated by Mikayel Melkumyan the bill on Ratifying the Protocol on Implementation of Exchange of Information  in accordance with Article 5.7 of 29 May 2019 Agreement on Free Trade between the Central Customs Bodies of the EEU Member States and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on one hand the EEU and Its Member States and on the other hand Vietnam Socialist Republic.

As the key speaker Chairman of the RA State Revenue Committee Davit Ananyan has informed, the Agreement envisages regular exchange of electronic information between the customs bodies of the EEU member states and Vietnam.

The Committee also endorsed the draft law on Ratifying the Agreement on the EEU International Treaties with the Third States, International Organizations or International Integration Associations.

According to the RA Deputy Foreign Minister Shavarsh Kocharyan, as a result of the adoption of the law the procedures designed for the abovementioned Agreement to enter into force will be ensured.

The Committee debated the draft law on Ratifying the Agreement on Harmonization of the Legislation of the EEU Member States in the Sphere of Financial Market, presented by the RA Deputy Chairman of the RA Central Bank Vakhtang Abrahamyan.

The speakers also answered to the deputies’ questions.

The Committee proposed to include the draft laws with the endorsement in the draft agenda of the regular sittings of the National Assembly.

The RA NA Standing Committee on Regional and Eurasian Integration made a decision to create a Sub-Committee on Cooperation with the Regions of the Russian Federation.
