On November 15, at the press conference the deputy of the RA NA My Step Gayane Abrahamyan presented details about her visits to the Czech Republic, Ukraine and Sweden.

The MP noted that on October 13-15 she took part in Forum 2000 well-known Conference held in Prague which was dedicated to the 30^th anniversary of the revolution happened in the Czech Republic. As Gayane Abrahamyan has assessed, the Conference is a good platform for discussing different issues. She noted that great importance was attached to the Velvet revolution happened in Armenia, the adopted values and the will of the authorities to implement reforms. During the Conference the MP presented the results of the revolution implemented in our country, the post-revolutionary period and the problems existing in the media.

Within the framework of the visit Gayane Abrahamyan met with the First Vice President of the Czech Senate Miluše Horská, as well as the Vice President of the Czech Senate Milan Štěch. They touched upon the item of the approval of the Resolution on the Armenian Genocide adopted by the House of Representatives. The Czech colleagues have noted that the item is on the working agendas. According to the Speaker, they exchanged ideas about the transit justice carried out in the Czech Republic, the application of lustration and the items on fight against corruption.

During the meeting the Vice President of the Chamber of Deputies Vojtech Pikal raised the issue of the arms sale to Azerbaijan by the Czech Government, in relation to that the Czech side assured that it should be strictly controlled in order such process never be repeated. The deputy has informed that Azerbaijan make huge investments in that country. She also state that in 2018 the economic relations of Armenia with the Czech Republic had been activated and the import had been doubled.

On October 29-30, Gayane Abrahamyan as Head of the RA NA delegation to Euronest PA took part in the Bureau Meeting of the organization. Some processes non beneficial for Armenia was succeeded to prevent. “The Ukrainian and the Azerbaijani delegations tried to advance the idea of having a separate Security Committee. It was not beneficial for us, and they were going to create a platform which especially was going to become the main platform for advancing the common interest of the territorial integrity for the Ukrainian and Azerbaijani sides. We managed to cancel that idea,” the MP has noted adding that she is not sure that in December that item will not be brought on the agenda: at this moment the danger has been neutralized.

On November 4-6, in Sweden Gayane Abrahamyan took part in the Conference dedicated to 10^th anniversary of the Eastern Partnership. There the speech of the Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Mammadyarov was also designed, and after Q & A should follow. Gayane Abrahamyan prepared some questions to address, but the opportunity of asking questions had been removed.
