The RA NA Deputy Speaker Vahe Enfiajyan met with the Speaker of the National Assembly of Vietnam Nguyễn Thị Kim Ngân within the framework of his official visit. The new perspectives of the development of the two friendly countries’ relations were discussed. The fact of having Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to the RA was highlighted.

Mrs Speaker expressed readiness to promote the joint initiatives of the two countries’ parliamentarians.

The RA NA Deputy Speaker had a working visit with his counterpart, the Deputy Speaker of the Vietnamese Parliament Ton Tin Fong. The parties underlined the deepening of bilateral, as well as multilateral cooperation on the inter-parliamentary platform. The Deputy Speaker of the Vietnamese Parliament expressed conviction that the works of the Friendship Group have their role in the development of cooperation.

Vahe Enfiajyan has noted that two countries’ parliaments have great potential of cooperation which should be effectively used for the development of bilateral relations.

Within the framework of the visit a number of working meetings of Armenia-Vietnam Friendship Group are designed, including the Foreign Affairs Committee of Vietnam’s Parliament.
