On November 7, at the joint sitting of the RA NA Standing Committee on Protection of Human Rights and Public Affairs and on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs moderated by Naira Zohrabyan and Mane Tandilyan the RA Draft State Budget for 2020 was debated.

The RA Minister of Finance Atom Janjughazyan presented the financial means to be allocated in the coming year to the Staff of the Human Rights Defender (HRD).

The RA Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan touched upon the programmes to be implemented next year. He has informed that this year the Staff works overloaded, the number of the applications and complaints addressed to the HRD Staff have increased. Presenting the works done in different directions the speaker has underlined that in the upgrading of the legal system of the country the HRD Staff has considerable engagement. Arman Tatoyan also answered to the deputies’ voiced questions.

The Chair of the RA NA Standing Committee on Protection of Human Rights and Public Affairs Naira Zohrabyan has informed the MPs that today until 18:00 is the last day of submitting proposals.
