Standing Committee Debates and Endorses RA Draft State Budget for 2020

At November 5 sitting, the RA NA Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs moderated by Mane Tandilyan debated the RA Draft State Budget for 2020.

The RA Minister of Finance Atom Janjughazyan presented the financial allocations and budgetary programmes of the Ministry for 2020.

The RA Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank (CB) Nerses Yeritsyan presented the CB conclusion on the RA Draft State Budget for 2020. He touched upon the monetary policy being implemented by the Bank, the inflation and the stability of financial market.

The Chairman of the RA State Revenue Committee Davit Ananyan talked about the collection of the incomes being designed.

During the exchange of ideas the MPs mainly positively assessed the draft state budget for 2020, and called on to vote for it. The Committee members endorsed the draft law for including it in the draft agendas of the session and the coming regular sittings.

The deputies in the second reading debated and endorsed the draft law on Amending the RA Law on Customs Service and the enclosed package of the draft laws.

Before the next sitting of the Standing Committee the debate of the legislative package on Accounting authored by the Government was postponed.

The Committee also debated the item on the Candidacy of the Audit Chamber (AC) member and Proposing Candidate for that Position to the National Assembly.

According to Hayk Gevorgyan, the RA NA My Step Faction proposed Samvel Yeghiazaryan's candidacy. The NA deputy presented the candidate's biography.

The Committee members with 1 for, 1 abstained, 4 against voted were not expressed their votes for the proposal of Samvel Yeghiazaryan's candidacy in the position of the AC member.
