Ararat Mirzoyan Meets with Chairman of Mazhilis of Kazakhstan

On November 4, the Speaker of the RA National Assembly Ararat Mirzoyan met with the Chairman of Mazhilis of the Republic of Kazakhstan being on a working visit in Armenia in the framework of the events of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly.

Welcoming the guest Ararat Mirzoyan has recorded that Armenia and Kazakhstan successfully develop in different spheres and has underlined that in bilateral relations Armenia attaches an important place to the inter-parliamentary cooperation. The Head of the Parliament has noted that the RA National Assembly evaluates the development of the inter-parliamentary cooperation. He has underlined that the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly has become an effective platform during its existence for the development and upgrading of the contractual-legal field of cooperation in the collective security sphere, expressing confidence that the two countries will continue to make efforts for finding solutions to the problems.

Nurlan Nigmatulin has highly assessed the role of the Armenian community of Kazakhstan, which has a great contribution to the economy and culture of their country. He has noted that this is his first visit to Yerevan, he is impressed by warm reception and wants to take a tour to Yerevan and get familiarized with picturesque sights. The Chairman of Kazakh Parliament said that the two countries should strengthen the cooperation on the international platforms also and emphasized the cooperation on the official platform, as well as - on the inter-personal. Nurlan Nigmatulin reaffirmed his invitation and invited Ararat Mirzoyan to Kazakhstan on an official visit.
