On November 1, on the initiative of the RA Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan a meeting was held with the representatives of the RA NA Prosperous Armenia Faction.

The draft law on Reduction of the Damage Causing to Health as a Consequence of the Use of Tobacco Production Types and Their Substitutes and Prevention was debated.

According to Arsen Torosyan, the executive body has a goal to protect the present and future generations from the negative influence of the tobacco smoke on their health and during the years to reduce the index of the illnesses from the tobacco use. The Minister also considered important such debates.

The Secretary of the RA NA Prosperous Armenia Faction has noted that there are different opinions on the draft law and as a result of debate the proposals formed by the Faction would be submitted to the Ministry.
