On October 18, on the initiative of the member of the RA NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Diaspora, Youth and Sport, the deputy of My Step Faction Arsen Julfalakyan a working discussion entitled State-Sport-Science was held, where the Committee members Lilit Stepanyan, Harutyun Babayan, the RA Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Gevorg Lorecyan, the Acting Director of Yerevan State Sports College of Olympic Reserve Ara Mehrabyan, the Acting Chancellor of the Armenian State Institute of Physical Culture and Sport and the Heads of a number of NGOs took part there.

Arsen Julfalakyan has noted that during the discussions in such format the problems existing in the sphere will be raised and adequate solutions will be given.

The participants of the discussion touched upon the items of the need of the legislation amendment of the system, the rise of the role of the physical culture subject at general schools, the problems of the school sport halls, the maintenance of sport structure, the athletes; medical insurance and the coaches’ license.

It was noted that the discussions in such format with the participation of the executive and legislative bodies would be of continuous character.
