At October 14 sitting moderated by Varazdat Karapetyan the RA NA Standing Committee on Territorial Administration, Local Self-Government, Agriculture and Environment in the first reading debated the bill On Making Addendum to the Law on Approving the Annual and Complex Programmes of Lake Sevan Ecosystem Restoration, Preservation, Reproduction and Use Events.
According to the Chairman of Water Committee of RA Ministry of Territorial Administration Infrastructures, during the drought years it will not be possible to make use of the lake waters.
As a result of debate, the Committee members endorsed the bill for including it in the draft laws of the agendas of the session and upcoming regular sittings.
The draft law on Making Amendments and Addenda to the RA Law on Local Self-Government in the City of Yerevan authored by the Bright Armenia Faction was debated in the first reading.
The MPs did not endorse the draft law.
The debate of the two draft laws on Making Amendments and Addenda to the Law on Water Users' Companies and Unions of Water Users' Companies was postponed up to two months.
