On October 9, the deputy of the RA NA My Step Faction Viktor Yengibaryan met with the students and lecturers of Political Science Department of the Faculty of International Relations of Yerevan State University. The Director of AGBU Europe Nicolas Tavitian attended the meeting.
The NA deputy presented the programmes of cooperation of the RA-EU upcoming four years and the package of the ongoing reforms and being designed in different spheres. He has informed that not all countries have ratified the Comprehensive and Enhanced Agreement with the EU, that is why it functions with about 80%. Viktor Yengibaryan highlighted the reforms being implemented with the EU support in the judicial-legal, the fight against corruption and human rights spheres. According to him, the sphere of police will be fundamentally improved, a European administration system will be invested and an operative centre will be created.
It has been noted that the EU is the biggest export market of Armenia. The EU has the 22% of the total volume of our country's trade.
Nicolas Tavitian also emphasized the cooperation with the EU. He underlined the importance of the democratic reforms.
