Under the Article 100 of the RA Constitution and the Article 41 of the Constitutional Law of the NA Rules of Procedure on the initiative of the RA Government an extraordinary sitting of the RA National Assembly with the initiator's established agenda.

According to the decision made by the parliament, the debate of the draft law included in the agenda in the second reading will be held within 24 hours after passing it in the first reading.

The deputies also passed the special procedure of the debate of the agenda item of the NA extraordinary sitting, and after it draft law on Making Amendments and Addenda to the RA Tax Code authored by the RA Government. The Chairman of the RA Revenue State Committee Davit Ananyan presented it.

The member of the RA NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs Artashes Petrosyan presented the endorsement of the Committee.

The MPs in their speeches welcomed and highlighted the amendments proposed in the draft law, considering them necessary, even delayed.

In his final speech Davit Ananyan thanked the MPs for their effective and professional debate and presented clarifications on the interpellations sounded in their speeches.

The draft law was passed with 94 votes in the first reading.

The parliament will continue the work of the extraordinary sitting on September 23, at 11:00 am.
