On August 31, the RA NA Standing Committee on Regional and Eurasian Integration convened a visiting sitting in Meghri to discuss the topical problems of Meghri Free Economic Zone (FEZ) and regional development.

The Committee Chair Mikayel Melkumyan considered intolerable the fact of the Free Economic Zone opened before with great enthusiasm, but now being idle.

At the visiting sitting the Director of Meghri FEZ Ltd Ashot Zarbabyan talked about the impeding factors of the regular implementation of the works.

The participants of the discussion touched upon the problems of Meghri Free Economic Zone activity.
