Chief of Staff-Secretary General of RA National Assembly Meets with Secretary General of Swedish Parliament

On August 26, the Chief of Staff-Secretary General of the RA National Assembly Tigran Galstyan met with the Secretary General of the Riksdag of the Swedish Kingdom Ingvar Mattson.

During the meeting issues concerning the possibilities of bilateral cooperation were discussed. Tigran Galstyan has presented the structural changes going on in the Staff, and its goal is to strengthen the expert, analytical opportunities of the parliament and the control function. According to the Chief of Staff-Secretary General it is designed to create a technically equipped new research centre, and the NA Staff cooperates with different international organizations in that direction. The Chief of Staff-Secretary General highlighted the exchange of experience with different countries in terms of efficiency of the centre’s activity and the application of the ISO standards in the sphere. “Being aware of the fact that this direction is developed in the Swedish Parliament, the cooperation and the exchange of experience will be effective in the sphere of information,” Tigran Galstyan noted.
