First Photo International Festival Held in National Assembly

On August 24-28, the Armenian First Photo International Festival is held in Yerevan. More than 500 participants from 20 countries of the world presented their works. On August 26, in the foyer adjacent to the RA NA Session Hall and in the public part of the Parliament Park well-known numerous photographers’ works were presented.

The RA Vice President of the National Assembly Lena Nazaryan highlighting the holding of similar events, expressed hope that they would be of continuous character and the National Assembly would become the platform where such events would be more often organized.

Announcing about the launch of the Festival, the Chief of Staff-Secretary General of the parliament Tigran Galstyan has noted that this could be a good tradition for the organization of similar exhibitions in the future.

According to the Head of the Steering Committee of the Armenian First Photo International Festival Tatev Mnatsakanyan, during these days the Capital of Armenia has turned into a Photo Exhibition in open air, in the framework of which numerous master classes are designed to be held, as well as meetings and seminars with the painters.
