At July 9 extraordinary sitting of the RA NA Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs moderated by Mane Tandilyan, examined the issue on the NA nomination for the candidacy and the candidate’s election of the Central Bank (CB) Council member.

Presenting the biography of the candidate Hasmik Ghahramanyan, the deputy Yeghishe Soghomonyan highlighted her professional qualities and the working experience.

Since 1995 she has worked in the Central Bank, headed the Monetary-Credit Policy Department, she is a Candidate of Economics.

According to Hasmik Ghahramanyan, the CB is a permanently developing structure.

Questions were addressed to the speaker, which mainly related to the inflation, the improvement, the problems of providing financial stability and economic growth in the long-term sector.

The Committee members with 4 for, 1 against and 1 abstained voted. The National Assembly will nominate Hasmik Ghahramanyan's candidacy in the RA CB Council.
