On July 8, in the city of Abidjan of Côte d’ Ivoire the next Plenary Meeting of the Parliamentary Assembly of LA Francophonie launched titled The Parliaments and the Strengthening of Democracy.

The RA National Assembly Delegation also took part in the Session among Francophone 88 Member States on behalf of the Head of the RA Delegation in the Parliamentary Assembly of La Francophonie, the Deputy Chair of the RA NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations Hovhannes Igityan and the member of the Delegation Mary Galstyan.

The day before the meetings of the Parliamentary Assembly of LA Francophonie Committees, where the directions of the peaceful solutions of the conflicts in the Francophone regions, themes on the necessity of the information technologies and the digital government input, as well as the deepening of the joint efforts of the member states and the development of the green economy against the climate change.

At the Committee meetings the members of the RA Delegation presented the political and economic situation of Armenia, as well as the procedure of the reforms and the development vision.

The Session will continue the work until July 9.
