Delegation of NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations Meets with Marshal of Senate of Poland Stanisław Karczewski

On July 3, the delegation of the NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations headed by Ruben Rubinyan met with the Marshal of the Senate of the Republic of Poland Stanisław Karczewski.

During the meeting the parties highly assessed the cooperation between the relevant Committees of the RA NA and the Senate of the Republic of Poland and the continuity of the tradition of holding the joint sittings, underlining that the abovementioned facts testify to the mutual readiness of taking practical steps in further deepening and enriching the Armenian-Polish agenda. In this context Ruben Rubinyan also reaffirmed the commitment of further active cooperation between the Parliamentary Friendship Groups for the benefit of further deepening of ties between the two countries’ parliaments.

The parties highly evaluated the importance of the Armenian community in the public-political life of Poland, underscoring its linking role on the Armenian-Polish agenda.

Armenian-European Union Partnership was touched upon, and the significance of the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement was stressed.

In the context of the 10 years of the Eastern Partnership the importance of strengthening the achievements and outlining the joint works of the next years was underscored. Both sides also evaluated the boosting of contacts, the activation of cooperation in different spheres as a key factor of strengthening the ties between the states.
