The RA NA Vice President Vahe Enfiajyan accompanied with the Executive Director of Izmirlian Medical Center Armen Charchyan was hosted in Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin and met with His Holiness Karekin II, the Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians.

During the meeting the interlocutors touched upon a number of problems facing the society and the country. Voicing the people’s wish, Vahe Enfiajyan made a proposal to stop serving mourning rituals in churches, and it was approved by the Supreme Patriarch. The Catholicos of All Armenians underlined the availability of the problem, noting that he would be consistent in its solution.

At the end of the meeting Vahe Enfiajyan and Armen Charchyan received the Patriarchal blessing of the Catholicos.

Let us note that the friendly meetings with His Holiness Karekin II, the Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians have already become tradition for many years: they have their visible result in bilateral proposals and the works stemming from them.
