On June 17, a working discussion was held on the items concerning the purchases in the culture sphere moderated by the deputy of the RA NA Bright Armenia Faction Harutyun Babayan in the Sub-Committee of Culture, Sport, Youth and Diaspora of the RA NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Diaspora, Youth and Sport.

The deputies, representatives of the state non-commercial organizations of the culture sphere took part in the meeting.

Harutyun Babayan has noted that the goal of the debate is to raise the problems existing in the sphere and try to jointly find their possible solutions.

The Head of the Purchase Policy Department of the RA Ministry of Finance Sergey Shahnazaryan answered the participants’ questions.

An agreement was reached to form a Working Group with the representatives of the Ministry of Finance and the concerned organizations to discuss the problems, the ways of their solution and initiate the relevant legislative amendments.
