At June 17 extraordinary sitting moderated by Babken Tunyan, the RA NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs considered the deputies’ presented recommendations on the draft laws on the tax package and advertisement.
The RA NA Bright Armenia Faction presented recommendations on the package of draft laws on Making Addenda and Amendments to the RA Law on Advertisement and on Amending the RA Law on Winning Games, Games with Internet Winning and Casinos.
The speakers have noted that the proposal does not promote the solution of the problem. The RA NA deputy Hrachya Hakobyan offered the member of the RA NA Bright Armenia Faction Gurgen Baghdasaryan to have a separate legislative initiative, where the ways of the problem solution would be distinctly noted.
The Committee members have voted for Vagharshak Hakobyan’s proposal, by which any kind of advertisement of a casino or a casino hall or their organizers is banned.
Numerous recommendations on the draft law on Making Amendments and Addenda to the RA Tax Code and on Making Amendments and Addenda to the RA Tax Code of 21 June 2018 and on Making Amendments and Addenda to the RA Tax Code of 21 December 2017 and on Making Amendments and Addenda to the RA Law-266, on Amending the RA Law-338 and the enclosed draft laws were presented.
The Committee Chair Babken Tunyan informed that as a result of debates, new rates of state duty were established.
A number of proposals presented by the RA NA deputy Gevorg Papoyan were debated and accepted.
Summing up the sitting Babken Tunyan noticed that as a result of three-month debates numerous provisions of the tax package were improved.
