On June 14, the seminar-discussion on the theme European Integration: The Estonian Experience and Lessons organized with the joint efforts of the RA NA Standing Committee on European Integration and the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats (S & D) of the EU Parliament was held in Yerevan.

The speakers were the Member of the EU Parliament, the former Minister of Defence of Estonia Hannes Hanso, the Special Envoy of Estonia in the Eastern Partnership programme and the Head of the Estonian Center for Eastern Partnership Jaan Reinhold, the Former Head of the European Commission Representation Hannes Rumm, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Estonia to Armenia and Georgia Kai Kaarelson, the representatives of the Local Self-Government and business community Ando Kiviberg and Jaan Kelder.

The guests presented the Estonian experience of the European integration, the impact of the process on the economic and territorial development of the country, the foreign political relations, the security environment, a number of issues concerning the role of the European Parliament in the Eastern Partnership Programme and the European integration process were discussed.
