On June 13, on the initiative of a group of deputies of the RA NA My Step Faction the draft law passed in the first reading a few days ago on Making Amendments and Addenda to the RA Law on Advocacy, authored by the RA Government was debated in parliament.

The member of the NA Standing Committee on Protection of Human Rights Maria Karapetyan has informed that there is a need to fundamentally review the law, listening to the specialists’ recommendations of the political forces’ representatives.

The lawyers taking part in the debate presented their recommendations and opinions on the bill passed in the first reading, and making other necessary fundamental amendments in the functional law.

The MP has expressed readiness to continue the debates later if is necessary.
