Agenda Items of Armenian-Tajik Cooperation Discussed

On June 11, the RA NA Vice President Lena Nazaryan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to Armenia Imomuddin Sattorov.

During the meeting the sides touched upon the agenda items of bilateral cooperation and perspectives of development.

The interlocutors have underlined with satisfaction that the Armenian-Tajik relations are based on the firm traditions of the friendship between the peoples of Armenia and Tajikistan, expressing conviction that in the near future those ties would more expand and deepen for the benefit of the two friendly countries and peoples.

Highlighting the strengthening of the inter-parliamentary ties, the sides underlined the effective cooperation of the Friendship Groups, the legislators’ active contacts and mutual visits. Issues on cooperation in the inter-parliamentary organizations were also discussed.

Lena Nazaryan has presented the conditions created for the development of the economy after the revolution in our country, noting that the new power makes efforts for the improvement of the investment environment in providing favourable field for the foreign investor. To the NA Vice President’s conviction, in the near future the reforms to be made in the sphere of justice will have their positive impact in overcoming the challenges facing the development of economy.

The Ambassador has assured that his Ambassador is concerned about boosting the cooperation in the bilateral, as well as the CSTO PA and the IPA CIS format.
