Timur Urazayev: Kazakhstan is Concerned about Effective Cooperation with Armenia

On June 11, the members of the RA NA Armenia-Kazakhstan Friendship Group met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Armenia Timur Urazayev.

The Head of the Friendship Group Vagharshak Hakobyan underlined the importance of the consistent strengthening of bilateral relations and the role of the inter-parliamentary diplomacy in that process.

In May 2019, the RA NA Armenia-Kazakhstan Friendship Group was in Nur-Sultan on a working visit. Thanking for the warm reception and organizing effective working meetings, Vagharshak Hakobyan has informed that at the end of September the visit of the Parliamentary Friendship Group to Armenia is scheduled. According to him, the Embassy of Kazakhstan planned to establish consulates in our country: according to the achieved preliminary agreements they would be opened in Vayots Dzor and Kotayk marzes.

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Timur Urazayev, highly assessing the relations existing between the two countries, has assured that Kazakhstan is concerned about deepening the effective cooperation with Armenia, in bilateral, as well as multilateral formats, including the frameworks of the EEU and the CSTO. The Ambassador took part in the parliamentary hearing organized on June 10 by the RA National Assembly Standing Committee on Regional and Eurasian Integration and highly assessed the discussions on the disclosure of the EEU problems and the potential.

Timur Urazayev presented to the MPs details on the presidential elections held in Kazakhstan. He expressed his gratitude to the members of the Observation Group representing Armenia and taking part in the elections and the mass media for the effective work.
