At May 23 extraordinary sitting moderated by Babken Tunyan the RA NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs continued the debate of the draft laws on Amending the RA Laws on Lotteries and on Winning Games, Games via Internet Winning and Casinos authored by the deputies Alen Simonyan, Sipan Pashinyan and Naira Zohrabyan.

Babken Tunyan informed that consensus was reached on the disputable issue, and the legislative initiative would enter into force since November 2020.

The package of draft laws was endorsed for including it in the draft laws of the agendas of the NA session and regular sittings. The presented recommendations would be debated during the period from the first to the second reading.

The RA NA Bright Armenia Faction presented for debate the draft law on Making Addendum to the RA Law on Licensing.

According to the NA deputy Gurgen Baghdasaryan, the RA official bulletin the law entered into force on 27 June 2018.

The RA Deputy Chairman of the Urban Committee Armen Ghularyan highlighted the adoption of the draft law and proposed to make certain amendments also in other provisions.

The Committee members endorsed the draft law.

The Bright Armenia Faction authored the bill on Making Addendum to the RA Tax Code.

The RA Deputy Minister of Finance Arman Poghosyan noted that the draft law would promote the solution of the economic and social problem.

The Committee Chair proposed to postpone the debate of the draft law and present a version of joint elaborated addendum. The key speaker postponed the debated of the item.

The package of bills on Making Amendments and Addenda to the RA Tax Code and on Making Amendments and Addenda to the RA Tax Code of 21 June 2018 and on Making Amendments and Addenda to the RA Tax Code of 21 December 2017 and eleven more bills were debated in the first reading.

The Committee Chair Babken Tunyan informed his colleagues that the matter of debate was comprehensively debated with all concerned sides, and numerous proposals were received.

According to the RA Deputy Minister of Finance Arman Poghosyan, three groups of amendments, regarding the system, tax and sphere are proposed.

The deputies’ questions related to different kinds of different spheres, the rise of salaries and pensions and other numerous problems.
