Vahe Enfiajyan Receives Parliamentary Delegation Arrived from Austria

On May 10, the RA NA Vice President Vahe Enfiajyan received the delegation led by the Head of Austria-Armenia Parliamentary Friendship Group of the National Council of Austria Gudrun Kugler.

Welcoming the guests’ visit to Armenia, the NA Vice President highlighted it in terms of strengthening the Armenian-Austrian traditional friendly ties, as well as boosting the inter-parliamentary cooperation. According to Vahe Enfiajyan, in its turn Armenia-Austria Parliamentary Friendship Group is ready to further deepen the cooperation in the near future.

The NA Deputy Speaker has underlined that after the political changes happened in Armenia the use of the parliamentary diplomacy is especially highlighted in implementing new programmes in the foreign relations and in the most different spheres.

Noting that this is the first visit of Austria-Armenia Friendship Group, Gudrun Kugler expressed readiness to promote the deepening and the development of bilateral ties.

Vahe Enfiajyan expressed his gratitude to the MP involved in the delegation Reinhold Lopatka for his personal contribution to the adoption of the Statement Recognizing and Condemning the Armenian Genocide and the voicing out loud the issue of key importance for the Armenian people on the most different platforms.

The sides touched upon the enlivening of the mutual visits and the necessity of giving more practical character to the cooperation.
