On May 8, within the framework of the RA NA Open Doors programme the pupils and the teachers of Tsaghkunk School of the RA Gegharkunik Marz and Yerevan Elita Secondary School. The guests took a tour in the parliament building and observed the work of the regular sitting of the National Assembly.
The RA NA Deputy Speaker Vahe Enfiajyan, the Chair of the RA NA Standing Committee on Territorial Administration, Local Self-Government, Agriculture and Environment Varazdat Karapetyan met with the schoolchildren.
The pupils addressed their questions concerning them to the deputies, which mainly related to the educational sphere and the TV programmes of the regional TV companies. The MPs gladly answered their questions. The parliamentarians have urged the pupils to study well, choose competitive profession, as they are the future of our country. Afterwards the talk continued in the session hall of the parliament, the children visited the NA Museum.
On the same day within the framework of the RA NA Open Doors programme the Armenian and German students, being involved in Konrad Adenauer Foundation, visited the National Assembly and observed the RA National Assembly-Government Q & A session. The MP Viktor Yengibaryan met with them.
The MP presented in detail to the guests the structure and the legislative activity of the parliament. Viktor Yengibaryan answered the questions concerning the students, which particularly related to the reforms being implemented in our country after the Velvet revolution.
