On May 2, at the NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs moderated by Vladimir Vardanyan the report on the Activity of the RA Prosecutor’s Office for 2018. The key speaker, the RA Prosecutor’s Office Artur Davtyan expressed readiness for constructive cooperation in different formats.

The RA Prosecutor General answered the MPs’ questions, which related to the prevention of the network hooliganism, the investment of the transitional justice, the delaying trials, the growth of the crimes, the damages caused to the state, the rise of the public trust towards the law defending system and the improvement of the Prosecutor’s Office needs.

The RA First Deputy Minister of Justice Artak Asatryan in the first reading presented the draft law on Amending the RA Criminal Law.

The RA Deputy Minister of Justice Anna Vardapetyan presented in the first reading the package of bills on Making Addendum to the RA Criminal Code and on Making Addendum to the RA Criminal Procedure Code.

The RA Minister of Justice Artak Zeynalyan presented in the second reading the bill on Making Amendments and Addenda to the Law on the Structure and Activity of the Government and the enclosed package of bills.
