RA NA Standing Committees Convene Sittings

At April 30 sitting, the RA NA Standing Committee on Territorial Administration, Local Self-Government, Agriculture and Environment moderated by Varazdat Karapetyan debated the draft law on Making Addenda on Fauna authored by the RA NA deputy Tigran Urikhanyan.

The speaker Mary Galstyan has noted that the legal relations on exclusively with the wild animals regulate by the law on Fauna.

The RA draft law on Making Addenda to the law on Fauna received negative conclusion.

The Committee members also debated the RA draft law on Making Addenda and Amendments to the RA Water Code authored by the government. The speaker, the RA Minister of Nature Protection Erik Grigoryan presented the draft law. The MPs exchanged thoughts on the issues concerning the system of the insurance in the sphere. The bill with the endorsement was proposed to include in the draft laws of the agenda of the NA session and the regular sittings.

On the same day at the sitting of the RA NA Standing Committee on Financial Credit and Budgetary Affairs moderated by Mane Tandilyan the legislative package on Amending the RA Law on Consuming Crediting, on Amending the RA Law on Currency Settlement and Currency Control and on Amending the RA Law on Loan Organizations authored by the government was debated. The RA Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank Nerses Yeritsyan has noted that it is designed to force the banks and the organizations implementing financial crediting provide the certificates to the citizens on the loans.

In his speech the Committee member Yeghishe Soghomonyan has opined that the draft law is directed to the protection of the consumer's interests and it is one step forward from the functioning legislation.

The MPs touched upon the opportunity of moving the fine in case of eliminating the violation by the financial organization, the interests of the rural entities, the protection of the small and medium business, the definition of the crediting conditions towards the entities and other issues.

The Committee endorsed the package of the draft laws.

The draft law presented by the NA Bright Armenia Faction on Amending the RA Law on Consuming Crediting was also debated in the first reading.

Mane Tandilyan proposed her colleagues to endorse the draft law.

The Committee endorsed the draft law. The Coordinating Expert of the Budget Office Gagik Barseghyan presented the report of the Budgetary Office on the works done in the first quarter of 2019.
