Parliamentary Hearings in NA on Amendments Proposed in Tax Code

On April 30, on the initiative of the RA NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs the package of the draft laws on Making Amendments and Addenda to the Tax Code and to the enclosed laws was debated during the parliamentary hearings.

The Committee Chair Babken Tunyan noted that recommendations on the package were received from the MPs and the factions, a number of debates were held with certain beneficiary groups and the SME representatives, which would be continuous. According to the Committee Chair, this is a good occasion to listen to the all sides’ viewpoints and to exchange thoughts.

The RA Deputy Minister of Finance Arman Poghosyan presented the amendments to be proposed.

The Chairman of the RA State Revenue Committee Davit Ananyan noted that the Government presented for the judgment of the public a package designing current amendments.

In their speeches the MPs and the participants of the hearings presented their observations on the amendments to be proposed, the substantiation of the initiative, the tax administration to be envisaged and the tax policy.

Summing up the hearings the Chairman of the Standing Committee on Economic Affairs Babken Tunyan thanked the participants for the interesting and meaningful discussions, which would be continuous.
