On April 4, the RA NA Standing Committee on moderated by Babken Tunyan organized a working discussion on the draft laws on Amending the RA Laws on Lotteries and Winning Games, Winning Games Via Internet and Casinos authored by Alen Simonyan, Sipan Pashinyan and Naira Zohrabyan.

Representatives of the companies organizing lotteries and the State Commission for the Protection of Economic Competition of the Republic of Armenia (RA SCPEC) took part in the discussion and presented viewpoints on the legislative package.

The NA deputy Sipan Pashinyan, highlighting the adoption of the legislative initiative, noted that it would promote the solution of the problems existing in the sphere, as well as fight against gambling.

The representative of the RA SCPEC Arman Manaseryan informed that if they would be amended, then the entries to the state budget would decrease.

The Chair of the NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs Babken Tunyan proposed the representatives of the companies to submit comprehensive information on financial problems before the debate of the package of bills.
